Make it legal

Monetary Compensations: How Justified?

by Sarita Sapkota | 20 April, 2010
Its not unusual news for us Nepalese hearing time and again about the government compensating X and Y for various reasons-especially when there is a certain amount of loss in question and a void of people/parties taking responsibility for the loss. Therefore, it’s quite natural for us to assume that the role of the government (one among many we think it has in our lives) is to fill the void and compensate.
