The paper is structured in two sections: Section A titled ‘Tourism Today’ analyses the existing status, potential, trends, policies and institutional framework for increasing investment in various sub-sectors of tourism in the present context; Section B titled ‘Tourism for Tomorrow’ brings together discussion points to bring in more investment in the tourism industry to ensure its growth in future.
