Akash Shrestha is a Research Coordinator at Samriddhi Foundation where his focus areas are petroleum trade and public enterprises. He also writes newspaper articles, blogs and radio capsules, based on the findings of the studies conducted by The Foundation.
He also coordinates the Foundation’s official blog and moderates a monthly discussion program named ‘Liberty Discussion Session,’ where young individuals share ideas and partake in healthy debates about the contemporary political-economy. Prior to joining Samriddhi in 2013, he was a founding member of the Nepal chapter of Youth For Nepal. He is currently pursuing Master of Arts in Economics under Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
