The state of economic recession or slowdown expected to occur amid the current public health emergency and in the aftermath of the imposed restriction is believed to warrant some form of intervention from the government to return the economy, mostly operated by the private sector, into momentum. Hence, it remains the crucial role of research institutions as the Samriddhi Foundation to deliberate workable recommendations to suggest the government to take timely interventions.
In such regards, the study observes the typical prescriptions of economic principles suggesting increased fiscal, monetary, and regulatory interventions to produce recommendations suitable to recover the Nepalese economy as it first experiences economic slowdown as the result of public health emergency. The recommendations are preceded by consultation with government and private experts with deep observation of the Nepalese Economy and the principles of macroeconomics.
