Research Assistants, Kathmandu Nepal (Temporary Appointment, Three Months – April, 2022 to June, 2022)

Samriddhi Foundation is a reputed policy think tank based in Kathmandu which works on areas of economic governance, economic policy and entrepreneurship. It is currently seeking applications from competent individuals for the position of research assistants on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse case laws and case files relevant to the project and as set out by the employer
- Support Samriddhi staff members on preliminary data collection and analysis of data as prescribed during the contract period
- Identify specific elements of case files and court precedents
- Code and enter identified elements into a statistical analysis software (a preliminary training session on coding and recoding variables will be provided to the research assistant)
Required competence
- Currently enrolled in or completed a university degree in Law
- Fluency in both English and Nepali Language
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Working hours: eight hours a day on a flexible basis
