PM KP Sharma Oli loses vote of confidence. What happens now?

Invoking Article 100 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal, Prime Minister and CPN-UML Leader Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli instigated to table a motion in the House of Representatives for a vote of confidence. But with 124 lawmakers voting against the Prime Minister and only 93 lawmakers voting in favour (15 lawmakers were neutral), KP Oli lost the vote of confidence on May 10th and as the motion was not passed by the majority of the members of the HoR, the PM has been relieved from his position under Article 100 (3) of the Constitution. Continue reading..
