Reforming the Education System in Nepal

January 31st, 2014 marked the first Liberty Discussion Session for the year where 10 people participated at the event at Gaia Restaurant, Thamel which was moderated by Akash Shrestha. The participants expressed views on ‘Reforming the Education System in Nepal’.

Participants discussed at length on the issues of the education system in Nepal and what reforms need to be put in place in order to re-frame the secondary socialization process. Ideas were put forward on the role of government and the role of citizens in the hypothesized process. The session resulted in a fruitful and impassioned discussion.
