Call for Partners – Global Entrepreneurship Week 2020

Samriddhi Foundation invites interested individuals and entrepreneurs to join hands with us for this worldwide celebration of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2020, from 16th-22nd November 2020.

This year, Global Entrepreneurship Week is celebrating four distinct themes: Education, Ecosystems, Inclusion and Policy. For more details please click here.

Interested individuals/businesses can collaborate with Samriddhi to organize local and national activities that would inspire our fellow Nepalese towards entrepreneurship and innovation by sending your event ideas at [email protected]. There are no restrictions on the type of activity one wants to organize. Given the Covid-19 pandemic, we encourage remote events like webinar, virtual workshop, and video production. About Global Entrepreneurship Week

Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is a week dedicated to existing and aspiring entrepreneurs who through their startups introduce or are capable of introducing innovation and jobs – driving economic growth and expanding human welfare.

GEW, today, has become the world’s largest entrepreneurship celebration. It was initiated in 2008, by former UK Prime Minister Gordan Brown and Carl Schramm, the president and CEO of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. Since then, it has grown to 160 countries with nearly 20,000 partner organizations planning activities that directly engage more than 10 million people.

For ten consecutive years, Samriddhi Foundation has been proudly hosting GEW along with the myriad activities and events accompanied by the occasion. Today, a multitude of entrepreneurs and start-ups have collaborated with Samriddhi Foundation to conduct activities that not only promote and encourage existing business ventures but also inspire individuals to pursue bold innovative ideas by introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities.

This year is more special as it marks the celebration of tenth Global Entrepreneurship Week in Nepal. We thus aim to bring together a larger number of entrepreneurs to promote a self-sustaining ecosystem that will support and stimulate entrepreneurship in Nepal.
